The Advisory Council (AC) supports the EAIC with its expertise and its network. It consists of site selectors, consulting firms and other advisers who are experienced in working with European investors in the USA.

Matt is the President and CEO of the European Amerian Investment Council, with offices in Atlanta, Georgia, and Berlin, Germany. He gained work experience worldwide at an international consultancy and is an expert in European American business relations.

McCallum Sweeney Consulting

Jeff Forsythe has more than eighteen years of experience in location consulting and economic development. As a principal with McCallum Sweeney, his experience predominantly includes location consulting throughout North America for manufacturing, distribution, and office projects. He has managed projects that have resulted in more than $2.3 billion in capital investment, 12,000 full-time jobs, and 13 million square feet being developed.

Alessia Paolicchi, 
Italy-America Chamber of Commerce

Alessia graduated from University of Pisa Law School, Italy, and later added a Master’s degree in Personnel Administration and Human Resources Management from University of Bologna. Alessia was International Sales Manager and Production planning & scheduling for a large Italian shoe company for two years before becoming Director of operations for CTT in 1997. CTT, a holding with 1200 employees, is responsible for public transportation services in the north west area of Tuscany. 

Werner Beermann, 
Gray Construction

Werner was hired as manager, European business development in 2011, to develop Gray’s European sales efforts. Having spearheaded the U.S. expansions of several Austrian and German automotive companies prior to joining Gray, Werner possesses a clear understanding of the unique needs of the European market.

Ullrich Kämmerer is partner at Rödl Langford de Kock LLP, where he focuses on market entry, site selection and taxation of European investors in the USA.

Nina Boettner is Managing Director of Standort Consulting, based in Houston, Texas. Nina provides site selection services to German, Austrian and Swiss companies.

Sebastian Eich is Managing Director of NAVIGO Corp., an international market entry consultant with offices in Atlanta, GA and Miami, FL and Cologne, Germany. NAVIGO provides site selection and representation services to German, Austrian and Swiss investors. Sebastian's experience and expertise includes international site selection and economic development strategy.

Rajesh Balakrishnan, 

Rajesh Balakrishnan is CEO and Founder of Corporate Designers Network (CDN), an advertising agency based in Germany. As CEO he has more than 15 years of experience in marketing and strategic consulting. Among others he worked with the German American Chambers of Commerce (GACC) and Private Companies on transatlantic marketing projects.

Blair has 32 years of site selection experience having worked as Director of the State of Georgia’s European Office (Brussels) and Managing Director of the Site Selection Group of the German American Chamber of Commerce of the South (Atlanta).

Hansjörg Heppe,

Dr. Hansjörg Heppe is an international partner in Locke Lord LLP’s Dallas office. His corporate law practice focuses on private equity, mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and other corporate finance matters, and restructurings. In addition, he counsels clients on domestic and international business transactions and international litigation, specifically in the transatlantic context. A native German with over 14 years of experience in the US real estate and construction industry, Tim Kastens assists European companies plan, finance and build their manufacturing and/or office facility projects successfully. Gene A. Stinson, Southern Economic Development Council

Since March 1998 Gene has served as the President of the Southern Economic Development Council (SEDC).  SEDC is a professional association for economic development practitioners and serves 17 states in the American South.  In the role of President Gene is responsible for overall operations of the association and for the implementation of the association’s annual program of work.
